Growing up, I always had an unshakable love for clothing—more than just fabric, it felt like a way to express myself. But time and again, I found myself frustrated with what mainstream fashion had to offer. Prices of well-known brands often felt out of reach, and the fits? They never felt truly mine.  

That’s when I decided to take matters into my own hands. I began experimenting, creating outfits that matched my personality and fit me like a dream. It was my little escape, my way of owning my identity through what I wore.  

Soon, people around me started noticing. Friends, family, and even strangers would stop me to ask, “Where did you get that outfit?” It was in those moments that I realized: if I could solve this problem for myself, why not for others too?  

In the beginning, it wasn’t easy. I juggled a full-time job during the day and spent my nights wandering through markets, searching tirelessly for the perfect fabrics. Working with tailors to get every detail just right became my life. Each piece was a reflection of my love for the craft and my dream to make fashion feel personal again.  

As demand grew, so did my dreams. I knew this wasn’t just a hobby anymore—it was my calling. Leaving the safety of my job was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made, but my heart told me it was the right one. Today, you’ll find me either handpicking fabrics from local markets or working closely with my team of tailors, ensuring that every stitch speaks of the care and passion Luxe by Maira stands for.
